Kathmandu University Undergraduate Management Programs: Kathmandu University launched Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor in Business Information Systems (BBIS) programmes for the first time in Nepal as new products in the undergraduate management education market. Both programmes are now well established and much in demand among undergraduate students. Kathmandu University (KU) has given affiliation to three colleges for the two undergraduate management programmes (UGMPs) of its School of Management (KUSOM). The affiliated colleges are: 1. Kathmandu College of Management (www.kcm.edu.np)
2. Little Angel's College of Management (www.lacm.edu.np) 3. Nepal College of Management (www.ncm.edu.np)
Admission to BBA/ BBIS Programs: Nepali and non-Nepali nationals with a 10+2 or Intermediate Degree or equivalent of at least two years duration in any discipline with a minimum of 50 percent in aggregate or CGPA of 2 on the scale of 4 from universities/boards recognized by Kathmandu University are eligible to apply for Kathmandu University's Four-Year Management Undergraduate Program. Note: Applicants who have completed the qualifying educational level but are awaiting the final results may apply on a provisional basis, provided he/she has already taken the last semester or final annual examination of the program and passed all previous year/ semester papers. The written admission test, KUUMAT is held at Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM). Successful candidates can apply to any of the affiliated colleges with the certificate provided by the University. The eligible candidates may be required to go through the other phases of admission process at affiliated colleges before final selection for admission in the college.
University Scholarship KU provides altogether seven scholarships for the undergraduate students enrolled in its affiliated colleges on need basis. For getting KU scholarships, students should apply to KU through their respective colleges after their enrolment. Apart from KU Scholarships, each college has its own policy and practice regarding scholarships. Fee structure Affiliated colleges have their own rules for fee structure and payment schedule.
