Upcoming Event: Launching Ceremony of WTO Chairs Programme

"Launching Ceremony of WTO Chairs Programme, Nepal on 17-18 October 2022"

Kathmandu University School of Management is organizing the Launching Event of the WTO Chairs Programme, Nepal on 17-18 October 2022 to formally launch the WTO Chairs Programme in Nepal.

The Program will be inaugurated by the Chief Secretary, Government of Nepal, Honorable Mr. Shanker Das Bairagi as the Chief Guest of the program on 17 October. The event will be graced by several other high-ranking government officials and secretaries from the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His Excellency Dr. Xiangchen Zhang, Deputy Director General of the World Trade Organization will be the guest speaker.

The second day of the launching event will be a workshop on Trade and Food Security on 18 October 2022. The workshop will consist of two sessions based on the themes: "WTO and Nepal Trade Regime" and "Food Security and Nepal".
