A foundation program for management career and advanced management knowledge

BBA grooms young people for starting career in management by developing essential qualities and abilities while preparing them for pursuing advanced management knowledge.  By blending foundation and core management disciplines with general and social science disciplines, the program offers a broad yet solid professional base for graduates to pursue managerial, entrepreneurial, and leadership roles in business and social enterprises.  It also rigorously trains graduates for higher academic pursuit in management and other academic disciplines. 

BBA is a four- year full time study program, spread over eight semesters, with the total academic load of 120 credit hours.  Students pursuing this program will:

  • Develop foundational understanding, perspectives, and competencies of broad societal issues, analytical approaches, and creative abilities;
  • Build core management competencies, perspectives, and understanding involving general and functional management disciplines for entry level career or as foundation for advanced management knowledge;
  • Acquire specialized management competencies, perspectives, and understanding of functional sub-speciality in management profession and knowledge; and
  • Learn cognitive and behavioural competencies as well as personality and leadership development necessary for management career through experiential exposures in projects, internship, and students-managed co-curricular activities. 

BBA degree is offered in KU’s two affiliated colleges- Little Angels College of Management (LACM) and Nepal College of Management (NCM).
